If any of you missed this post on The Bride’s Cafe today, go check it out! These ah-mazing floral hair wreath was done by my dear friend Janie Medley, of JM Flora Design. She is incredibly talented and calls her flowers her “babies”- She’s the best :-) I can’t wait to get married and have her do my flowers =) The gorgeous images were captured by Amelia Johnson Photography.

I have been following your blog for some time now and I have to say it is simply perfect. I am not a "dreaming of my wedding day" type of girl, but i find myself on your tumblr for hours going through pages and pages and collecting things that I find inspiring and may one to use for my special day in the future. You are doing a wonderful job and I wish you the best of luck on becoming a wedding planner! This is what I LOVE to hear! :-) Thank You so much!

A friend just asked me to be her maid of honor, along with her childhood best friend. I've never been a bridesmaid or been in a wedding at this caliber. :) Any tips on maid of honor duties/schedules?Hi there! This article from Real Simple kind of sums up the expected duties of a Maid of Honor, however, it really all depends on the bride. I would talk to her and see what are some things she will definitely need your help with. Above all, be supportive & caring, and be there to comfort her when there is inevitable family drama with her future Mother In-law, or when she can’t find her perfect dress in her price range. Just continue to be her best friend even if she morphs into bridezilla -There is a reason she picked you to stand beside her on her big day =)

you coordinate weddings? where are you located? in desperate need.Hello! Yes I am beginning to coordinate weddings. Just had my first! :-) I am in Richmond, VA.
Katie & David got hitched!
There will be many more details -and beautiful photos- to come soon! But I couldn’t wait to tell you all at least a little about it!
Today was the first wedding I have ever coordinated and I will proudly say that it was a perfect, amazingly beautiful day- with no glitch or crisis. The bride & the groom were both as calm as could be the entire day. The bride looked like a princess on the cover of a magazine. The weather? 70’s and sunny. The flower girls even sat through the entire ceremony quiet as mice! Everything & Everyone was wonderful. I cannot WAIT until we get the photos back and I will share it all with you.
Now, I am going to bed. Because my brain is crashing.
I love you all! :-)

A must-have candid shot with mom and dad.
Make sure to include them as much as possible. It is hard for them to see you grow up and they could easily feel left out. Even asking for the smallest piece of advice goes a long way.
